Friendship Games of Baltic Aviation Schools

On 15-17 May the traditional Friendship Games of Baltic Aviation Schools are held for the ninth time. This year Estonian Aviation Academy is the host of the event and the venue is Jõulumäe, Pärnu County. Last year the games took place in Latvia.

The tradition of the Baltic Aviation Schools Friendship Games was initiated at the Aviation Institute of the Riga Technical University and each year one of the three Baltic countries is the organizer. In Estonia this is one of the very few international competitions of the specialized educational institutions.

The team of Estonian Aviation Academy will compete with the representatives of the aviation institutes of the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and the Riga Technical University and for the second time the Kielce University of Technology. The Cup will be awarded to the winner of soccer, basketball and volleyball.

Last year’s Baltic Games winners were the Latvians but this year Estonian Aviation Academy has decided to bring the winner’s Cup to Tartu.
