Training Organisations

European aviation legislation has foreseen that all the educational institutions executing the training in the field of aviation must have special training organisations in its structure to assure the quality of training and its conformity with the regulations issued by ICAO, JAA, EASA and Eurocontrol.

Thus EAVA has got three training organisations:

• Air Traffic Services Training Organisation (ATSTO) whose work is guided by Eurocontrol
   
• Flying Training Organisation (FTO) whose work is guided by JAR-FCL
   
• Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO) whose work is guided by EC Act 2042/43 Parts 66 and 147
